You promised us ‘paradise’ and we are convinced it is even more than that!

Villa Thalassa: well, what can we say? Maybe that we are spoilt for the rest of our lives, because what house can ever come near this villa?
Not only its location: almost with your feet in the sea, but also the comfort of fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, not to mention the very romantic light-tables in the bedroom!!! The peace: it was as if all of Crete was reserved for us: no one on the left side and on the right side just a large vegetable plot, its harvest generously served to us by the woman who worked there. Usually we go from one thing to another during a holiday to miss nothing. This time we returned home blushing with shame with hardly any pictures of Crete, just some shots of the villa and garden: the temptations of this really large pool, the terrace with the rocking chair, the warm evenings, a bottle of raki and the wonderful sunrises were just too hard to resist and kept us housebound. We could not imagine a more beautiful place on Crete than this one!
The caretaker of the villa is such a sweet man, always smiling and prepared to help.
This is a rather long way just to say we had a fantastic holiday and we will definitely visit this ‘paradise’ again!

We wanted a quiet and peaceful holiday and found an earthly paradise in villa Thalassa. We had loved to stay longer…

Everything was as we hoped it would be. The accommodation and, very important, its large private swimming pool made it a very nice and relaxing holiday!
As you will understand we spent most of our time there, The villa is fully equipped. We are really happy with your service, the information we got and the rental car, The caretaker is an extremely friendly man who respected our privacy. We want to rent a villa through Villa Kreta again next year, so you will hear from us.

In October it is also very nice on Crete. Nice temperature, still warm enough to sunbathe, to swim and to sit outside in the evening. Villa Thalassa is a very spacious luxury villa that is really tastefully furnished. The garden is huge and even in its first season we saw the still small trees bear fruit and we drank tea from fresh mint leaves from the herbal garden. We also ate the fresh water melon that grew through the fence to the adjacent plot. Floating on an inflatable bed in the swimming pool you can look out over the sea. It is lovely to potter around near the sea and to climb the rocks there. Without realising it you’ll find yourself on one of the small nearby beaches.

We had the honour to be the first ones to rent this villa. The house is really close to the sea, unique, it enables you to settle down…to get that holiday feeling. The house is very comfortable. I am 1.95 m. long and here I finally found a bed long enough to stretch my legs. So I went back home completely relaxed. We spent a lot of time in the large swimming pool which was great! We want to come back next year!

A beautiful, large and super relaxing house. There is a pool to swim in, but there is also the sea (use water shoes). Within a five minute walk along the road you’ll find some quiet bays, or you can go there by climbing the rocky coast. Anyway, we had a great time and collected beautiful stones and shells. We could not take all of them home, so we left a few. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

In June 2008 I was one of the first to visit villa Thalassa. It is a magnificent place with a nearly all round sea view. Being a real sea lover I especially enjoyed the direct access to the sea. From the garden you can walk down to the water. Climbing a few rocks it is possible to dive into the sea. I swam to several nearby beaches. If you walk it only takes 5 or 10 minutes to get to these beaches. The rocks near the house are a great spot to spend some time staring out over the sea. And if I were a child, I’d immediately feel like a pirate on a desert island.

Villa Thalassa was super! The garden will become greener and more beautiful over time. The caretaker is a very nice and friendly man who helped us when there was a small problem with the electricity. Please, feel free to mail us suggestions for our next holiday. The rental car was fine too.
